PureZone’s air purifier uses HEPA and activated carbon filters to remove common household odors as well as allergens.

It is one of the most effective air purifiers for smoking cigarettes. It filters out harmful smoke particles and eliminates the tobacco smell.

It can also remove other allergens, such as pet dander, dust, pollen and mold spores.

A UV-C integrated sanitizer kills viruses and bacteria.

Cons

Best Features

1. 3-in-1 Filtration

3-in-1 HEPA Air Purifier

PureZone has three filters that clean your indoor air.

Pre-filter: This captures allergens such as dust and pet hair. This will make your air cleaner and prevent the HEPA or carbon filters from becoming clogged up with large particles. The filter does not need to be changed; it is better to wash it every few weeks.

HEPA filter: Captures small allergens and pollutants down to 0.3 microns. These allergens include pollen, smoke, and fine dust.

Activated Carbon Filter: Removes unpleasant odors, absorbs harmful gases such as formaldehyde or benzene.

2. UV-C Light Sanitizer

The PureZone air purifier comes with three filters and a UV-C light sanitizer.

The ultraviolet radiation from the sanitizer kills microbes in the air, such as bacteria and viruses.

For disinfection, UV-C light is widely used. It is entirely safe and doesn’t produce ozone as the ionizers found in most air purifiers.

3. Three Fan Speeds

The PureZone does not have an auto mode feature. It doesn’t have an Air Quality Sensor to determine how clean or dirty it is.

These omissions can be understood considering the cost.

You can adjust the fan speed to suit how dirty the air feels. For example, if someone smokes or pet litter is a problem, you can turn the fan speed to the third level.

Although it may be noisy, it will quickly clear the air.

The second level will be quiet enough most of the time. To make the fan even quieter at night, reduce the fan speed to the lowest setting.

4. Timer and Sleep Mode

You can turn the fan speed down when you go to sleep, but you don’t want to have the fan running all night.

This will reduce fan speed and eliminate all indicator lights, allowing you to sleep better.

You can also set a timer so that the purifier will turn off after 2, 4, or 8 hours.

Limitations

PureZone is suitable for rooms smaller than 200 square feet.

It is not strong enough to ventilate large bedrooms or open-plan living spaces. However, it’s great for small bedrooms, the home office, or the baby nursery.

Customers complained that the fan gets a little noisy at higher settings. This is a common problem with most air purifiers.

This is a small sacrifice for quicker air purification.

It’s not loud enough to make it impossible to watch TV or talk with others. It won’t likely wake the baby.

You’ll notice it less after a while. In any event, you will mainly be using the quiet second fan speed setting.

Summary

The PureZone is an excellent choice if you have allergies or are sensitive to dust, wildfires, or want to eliminate the stench from your neighbor’s cigarettes.

This handy little unit cleans small to medium-sized rooms in no time. The UV-C light sanitizer provides additional protection.

We highly recommend the PureZone 3-in-1 True HEPA Air purifier to anyone looking for an affordable air purifier for their bedroom, office, or other rooms.
